Yoga for Fatigue & Energy Support

Service Description

In this free class we will explore how to best support ourselves when our energy levels have been negatively impacted by a virus - including Covid-19, ME and other conditions of chronic fatigue - or we are just generally feeling exhausted by the demands of life (which may include caring for others). We’ll be using a mixture of yogic and other practices to help us release physical tensions and soothe any mental/emotional holding patterns which may be draining our energy reserves. The class will include a combination of breathing techniques to settle the mind and relax the body, gentle movements to open and revive on the physical level as well as deep relaxation to help the whole system process and integrate the practice. Everything offered in the class is optional and you will be encouraged to really feel what is needed in the moment as a way of cultivating self awareness and self-autonomy. Everyone is welcome, total beginner to experienced practitioner. Come along and give yourself full permission to slow down, delve inward and rest deeply. The class is mostly done supine so it is fine to practise from the bed or floor. Practising from the chair is also possible as well though a little more difficult to fully rest. Please have to hand, a blanket or 2, a cushion or two and a chair/sofa/bed to take the lower legs over for relaxation. Something to cover the eyes for relaxation if you like that.
