What Is Yoga?

1/5

Yoga is a non-religious, ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility, breathing and meditation to boost physical and mental wellbeing. The practice originated in India about 5,000 years ago and has been adapted in other countries in a variety of ways. The word ‘yoga’ means ‘union’. Union between body and mind – bringing them together and allowing us to move away from living in our heads only to living in our bodies as well.

Who Is Yoga for?

Yoga can be adapted to anyone — regardless of their religion, health, age or ability.

What Are The Health Benefits Of Yoga?
