    Yoga Research on Cancer

    There has been a wealth of research into how yoga can benefit cancer patients, to ease the symptoms of chemotherapy, help patients in both recovery and paliative care. Here is a selection of some of the best research available. 

    Yoga may help patients with anxiety and depression in patients undergoing treatment for cancer

     Yoga improves wellbeing, increased awareness of the physical body, improved physical, mental and social functioning in patients with breast cancer-related lymphoedema 

     Yoga recommended as a psychotherapeutic intervention in breast cancer patients undergoing conventional treatment

     Yoga reduces overall fatigue and the interference of fatigue in everyday life for breast cancer patients
