Mindful Movement 4 Rehab & Rest
to support people with Covid symptoms/Long Covid/ME/CFS/Fatigue/Autoimmune
Service Description
This class uses self acupressure & some simple yoga shapes to encourage internal movement, be that blood & lymph, nervous system regulation or generally unblocking the flow of energy in body & mind. We start with a community sharing & end with a guided relaxation. You choose how you participate & the session can be done seated or lying down. You are welcome to join whether you prefer to practice on the floor, in bed or on a chair and follow as much of the class as suits. Those practicing on chairs will receive some support from the teacher, however please note this is not a specialist chair yoga class as such. Pls have the following props to hand to help support you in your practise. - folded towel, small blanket or yoga block to place under the head when lying down - something to sit on when on the floor or mat eg. yoga block, cushion, hardback book, rolled up towel - a firm pillow or even 2 or 2 big cushions you can lie on your front on or put under your legs when resting on your back - a blanket or throw for lying on or putting over you to keep warm and cosy while resting
